Patti Pente makes art that involves imaging the screen and the body in various configurations as the traditional boundaries between digital and analogue are reconsidered. Patti Pente is interested in the complex range of materiality from the quantum scale to the galactic scale, with respect to human/non-human entanglements.

Patti Pente

Dr. Patti Pente is an artist and professor at the University of Alberta. She investigates art and education through GPS technology, nanotechnology, and landscape painting. Dr. Pente has been artist in residence at the Canadian National Institute for Nanotechnology, and continues to research digital and analogue innovations for art education. She has exhibited her art nationally and internationally.
